Item Description
An unusual decorated ostrich egg by South African artist Afonso Graça. One of Graça's specialities is encasing items in decorative pewter filigree, as shown on this piece. The egg is decorated with an overlay of intricately worked pewter featuring curlicues, impressed patterning and tiny green glass beads. The egg comes with a custom made pewter display stand. Graça's name is impressed into a pewter disc towards to underside of the egg.
The egg is in great condition and would make an interesting addition to your home.
