A pair of elephant bookends in the Art Deco style and dating to the 1930s. They are beautifully carved out of a hard wood and have an angular appearance, typical of Art Deco design. They have inset glass eyes and celluloid tusks. They are mounted on plinths with felted bases.
They are in good condition with minor wear commensurate with their age.
The size given is for one bookend.
