Item Details

A beautiful natural wood stool or side table with an organic shape that embodies the principles of wabi-sabi, which celebrates imperfection, transience, and the beauty of natural materials. The piece has great from and presence, keeping the original organic forms, embracing natures uneven surfaces and asymmetrical shapes. The piece provides a muted, natural colour with hues of light and dark browns that provide a sense of warmth.


The square top, made from two chunky pieces with old steel staple pins, the end grain of the wood visible, the edges are softened with age related wear, legs are twig like and naturally wavy, a sturdy strong piece that can be used as a stool or side table. Top measures circa 30cm square (circa 11.5inches).
