Item Description
An attractive antique Dugdill's table lamp, or "portable standard" with square base and a brass knop to the stem. Fully adjustable. For sale with an antique spun steel shade but also shown with an antique glass shade. Fully taken apart, cleaned, polished, midro0crystalline waxed and reassembled. Retaining original paint. The shade has been sprayed satin white internally to imrove light quality and efficiency. Rewired with 3 meters dark brown fabric flex, a new safety-switched brass lampholder and a traditional hard plastic plug. Dimensions in inches/cms; 31.5"/80cm max height (fully vertical). Height to the top of the stem is 18.5"/47cm. The shade is 5.5"/14cm in diameter. The base is approx 5"/12.5cm square. Weight is approx 3.75kg.
