Item Details

An antique large scale Faraday & Son gilt brass tapered reeded shaft column oil lamp with lobed "capital" and urn base. Stamped FARADAY & SON. English, 19th century.

Some verdigris discoloration to plinth sides.

Cleaned and lightly polished, rewired with 3m (exposed) fabric flex, patinated brass safety-switched lampholder and traditional phenolic plug. Pat tested.
