Item Description
A 19th century French duchesse brisee daybed in Louis XVI style, the carved frame in original soft white paint and both bergere ends are double-caned, with loose feather filled sik cushion.
The bergere canework is in good, firm, condition with no holes or sagging. The silk fabric on the cushion is worn in places - I can arrange re-covering with my upholsterer and supply fabric - please contact me for further details.
88cm high, 191cm long, 71cm deep max at the head tapering to 60cm at the foot, cushion height 43cm.
