Item Description
A French Louis Philippe marble top commode, mid 19th century, with five book-matched flame-veneered drawers, comprising a roll top frieze drawer over three long drawers with knob handles and a concealed drawer to the base, raised on ogee bracket feet, the figured grey marble top with double bull-nose edge.
In very good condition throughout. The drawers are oak lined and original locks present, but no key. The knob handles are a later addition (this type of commode would not originally had drawer handles).
