A lovely quality19th Century French painted and parcel gilt canape, in a neutral linen fabric with deep button upholsered back and seat, the frame painted in a soft white with gilded highlights, the back with foliate and leaf carved cresting, with open arms and raised on four spiral carved tapering front supports terminating in brass castors.
A really lovely sofa in excellent conditon with good clean, upholstery. Recently acquired from a Georgian proiperty in Bath.
108cm max, 152cm wide, the seat 58cm deep and 42cm high.
