Original artwork for a Stanley FRANKLIN cartoon, titled 'BBC TV MATCH OF THE DAY' and the inscription 'WE HOPE VIEWERS ARE ENJOYING THIS FIGHT AS MUCH AS THE BEEB IS', published in The Sun, newspaper 8th September 1979, and presented to Lord (Lew) & Lady Grade.
The cartoon shows Lou Grade in a boxing ring, with his trademark large cigar in the mouth and the words 'ITV BOSSES' on his back, sparring with a figure wearing a vest titled 'ITV UNIONS'.
with presentation inscription by the artist 'to Lord & Lady Grade with Best Wishes - Stanley Franklin'
The reverse of the frame with a sticker 'From the Estate of Lord & Lady Grade of Elstree'.
