Item Description
A Roen faience twin handled rectangular platter, mid 18th Century in the manner of Jean-Baptiste Guillebaud, painted in polychrome colours with a pagoda pattern with birds and insects in flighti, within a cross-hatched border reserved with foliate panels. The reverse with painted initial 'A'.
Condition: the left hand handle has some very good old restoration which has not discoloured, small amount of chipping (mainly in the glaze) to the top edge - see photographs.
