Large and impressive molecular model by Crystal Structures Ltd. 

Dating from the mid 20th century due to its size makes a great decorative piece.

Still with its original label attached , this is a study of Montmorrillonite. Originally used as a teaching aid the piece shows sign of use a wear that give this a great patina and charm. The individual spheres are wooden and mounted on fixed and sprung metal supports. There are some losses to the paint in places and areas of metal discolouration and a small amount of what looks like historic worm holes.
