Victorian hand help scientific magnifier with Coddington lens.

In good order, marks to the brass as in photos, wooden handle wear commensurate with use. This would all probably clean / polish out but we like to leave items like this untouched

Just under 12 cms total length 

The brass housing for the lens measures 2.6 cms deep.

These are increasingly difficult to find and extremely sought after.
