https://www.thehoarde.com/dealers/ljw-antiquesA charming thing, this small oval armorial is painted on velum and dates to c.1830. It's housed within a period, probably original, carved wood and gilded frame. According to the description to the reverse, the Coat of Arms belongs to 'Wright of Yorkshire' - I think the rest of the text details the design of the armorial, though it's difficult to read the handwriting! The armorial has survived the years in fantastic order, the colours remain vibrant and the background bright. The frame etc is all in very good order. Including the frame it measures 25cm high x 20cm wide x 2cm deep. UK Mainland P&P would cost £10.
