This is an antique country house parlour game case. An English, oak organiser box, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1850.



  • Fascinating proportion to this pleasingly crafted case

  • Brass recessed handle to lid, with shield shape backplate

  • Six divisions to the interior, with a lidded compartment to the left

  • Unusual sliding clasps neatly set within nacelles to the fascia
