This is an antique piano stool. An English, walnut and leather adjustable music or recital riser by Brooks Limited, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1880.



  • Of superb craftsmanship and Victorian appeal

  • Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order

  • Select walnut presents fine grain interest and rich caramel hues

  • Supple and beautifully tanned leather cushion in fine condition



  • Comfortable and supportive, the cushion rises with a pair of vernier knobs

  • Deep red hue to the leather with brass foliate press stud trim

  • Standing upon a quartet of turned legs, united by H-stretcher

  • Engraved to the base for Brooks Limited, with serial number 1856 - 750


This is a fine antique piano stool, with a delightfully appealing finish and the useful, patented mechanical height adjuster. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
