This is a pair of antique side chairs. An English, walnut buckle back seat, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1840.

  • Accentuated to the chamfered rail with lobed detail and leaf cappings

  • Traditionally stuffed cushion at a comfortable height of 46cm (18'')



  • Quality brushed velvet upholstery in good, clean condition

  • Accentuated with champagne-coloured brocade trim

  • Appealing shaped lower apron with relief carved knee decor

  • Tall cabriole legs at the front stood upon pad feet, gently swept pair to the rear
