This is an antique corner wall cupboard. An Italian, walnut mounted cabinet, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.



  • Attractive Continental cabinetry, with appealing decorative touches

  • Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout

  • Quality walnut stocks present fine grain interest and rich caramel hues

  • Arranged as a single cabinet with shelf to interior, over a useful lower drawer



  • Arcading adorns the top, with 9 turned finials following the outer crown moulding

  • Upper apron decorated with relief carved grapevines, between pyramid forms

  • Field panel door in burr walnut, with a quarter bookmatched frieze to the centre

  • Dressed with a brass lock escutcheon — in working order, key present



  • Ornamental carved mouldings flank the door opening

  • Drawer front accentuated with scrolled foliate relief and a small circular pull

  • Lower apron garnishes the base, with central lobe set upon a serpentine sash mount

  • Finished with a pair of brass mounting loops for ease of wall hanging
