A particularly fine 19th century ship diorama featuring a British three-masted naval merchant ship, with a pilot boat and a paddle steamer alongside in the same maritime scene. Naively built using carved wood, tin, card, and thread with an oil-painted sky backdrop. Original moulded mahogany frame.
