A stunning moulded glass vessel, originally manufactured as part of an early sort of storage battery to supply electric power to machine motors. It looks rather like it has just come off the film set of Fritz Lang's 1927 science-fiction masterpiece 'Metropolis'!



Glass battery cases of this size are quite rare, but we have been lucky enough to acquire a small quantity of them. Please be aware that these are reclaimed pieces and are not perfect. All have minor chips and chibbles to their top edges, but there are no cracks. With their Art Deco styling, and large size, they now make impressive vases.
