Antique Champagne Harvest Log Basket Wooden Trug -O

A wooden Champagne trug from France used to harvest grapes in the Champagne region. The markings identify the grower and vineyard it belonged to. The trug is constructed from wood with a handle hole at either end for carrying. It is very sturdy and perfect for storing logs by the fire or for a Christmas tree.

Circa: 1920s

Workshop Report: The trug is structurally sound with some wear to the wood in places. Historical worm has been treated.
As with all our products, this product is an original vintage item so there are signs of wear from use.
