Antique French Bee Skep -L


An original antique primitive French bee skep constructed from coiled rye straw and bound with strip willow. The Bee Skep is lovely decorative feature inside or out. For something different these can be used as a rustic light shade. 


Origin: Normandy, France


Circa: 1920s


Workshop Report: The bee skep is in good structural condition with some wear to the straw in places.


As with all our products, This product is an original vintage item so there are signs of wear from use.
