Item Description
Antique French Suroy Textile Factory Trolley
A fabulous original fibreboard storage trolley salvaged from France. The trolley is red/brown with horizontal wooden supports and cast metal corner protectors. The trolley is on 4 wheels and would have originally been used to move materials around the mill. Ideal as a storage solution for logs, shoes, toys or as a film prop.
Origin: France
Circa: Early 20th century.
Workshop Report: The trolley is structurally sound to move around on its wheels, but there is a hole in the fibreboard on each of the two long sides of the trolley – see photos. There is some wear to other parts of the fibreboard in places and a few nicks in the board which gives it more character.
As with all our products, this product is an original vintage item so there are signs of wear from use.
