Large Antique French Coolie Glass Frill Pendant Light
An unusually large early French glass frill coolie light. The shade is hand made from opaque glass with a clear pleated rim. The shade has retained its original brass gallery with aged patina. As the glass shade is handmade this is reflected in a slight imperfection to the shape.
These French shades have taken on many names over the years – ‘Pie Crust’ ‘Handkerchief’ ‘Frilly’

Workshop Report: The shade is in overall good condition. The light has been rewired with CE Certified E27 (screw) bulb holder and 1m of twisted brown vintage style flex and chain and matching ceiling rose with hook.
As with all our products, This product is an original vintage item so there are signs of wear from use.
