Large Antique Stone Coaster Trivet Chapati Mould – K
An original stone Chapati Mould which originated from India and would have been hand carved. They would have originally been used in the household to roll out chapatti dough. Chapati is a traditional Indian flatbread, which is rolled out on these before baking
Origin: India
Circa: 1930
Workshop Report: The coaster is solid and in generally in good condition, there is some wear to parts of the stone edges.
As with all our products, this product is an original vintage item so there are signs of wear from use.
