Item Details
1940’s Original French Mullca Long Slatted Bench (Model 682). One of our most favourite makers, in 1947 Robert Muller and Gaston Cavaillon created the company Mullca that went on to develop arguably the most famous French school chair the 510, and occasionally we come across these hard to find, but oh so practical original Mullca benches. Sadly the company no longer exists but vintage benches can still be found, practically made with a strong tubular frame with long beech slats. The bench dates from the late 1940’s and is in lovely original condition. You can tell it?s a slightly earlier bench because the beech slats are made in two sections and not continues, a result of the shortage cost savings and material shortages in the late 40’s. We only sell the very best vintage in great condition and our workshop makes sure everything leaves us in great shape. Seat Height 45cm.
