1950's Model A811 Bentwood Hooped Cane Dining Chairs - Pair.



Designed in the 1920's by Josef Hoffman this is the arm version of the model 811. High quality good scale dining chairs produced by the famous Czech firm Ton, still trading today and producing beautiful chairs. We have gently restored the rich coloured frames but kept the original character and patina which is what this chair is all about. The cane is the original hand cane, woven directly on to the chair, and not applied by sheet as it is today. We service, clean and wax each chair individually before they leave our workshop. Seat height 46cm.

Our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
