1960's Good Sized Mid Century Wardrobe - Up Zavody.


Superb practical piece of mid century storage by the Czech maker Up Zavody and designed by Frantisek Mezulanik. Czech was a large producer of high quality mid century furniture following the surge of modernism originated by the Bauhaus school. The main cabinet is made from well figured oak with stunning laminate doors and a contrasting sapele interior. The whole cabinet is beautifully made with the A frame legs on the sides. Inside the shelves sit on fixed rails but could be removed as required. Our workshop has gently restored the cabinet cleaning and waxing the timber to bring out the original colour and character. Original key supplied.
