Original 19th century Louis Auguste Moreau (1855-1919) bronze “Cupid” sculpture. Signed Aug. Moreau on the terrace.

Born to a family of celebrated sculptors in Dijon, France, Louis Auguste Moreau went on to regularly exhibit his work in the Paris Salon.

This sculpture has wonderful character, and is in excellent condition for a piece of its age.
