This stylish, mid-century coffee table was created by the important 20th century Danish designer Johannes Andersen (c.1903-91). Andersen developed his own studio in the 1930s and shot to fame as the appreciation for Scandinavian design peaked in the 1950s. He was particularly known for his coffee tables and so this is a true collector's piece.

This item was designed for the Swedish manufacturer Trensum.
