Item Details

A pair of stylish single beds with beautiful chinoiserie decoration to both the head and foot boards, circa 1920.


The black lacquered head and foot boards have gilt details and are profusely decorated with chinoiserie scenes with gesso details. 


The beds have the original iron frames which slot into the head and foot boards, and are supplied with relatively newly constructed pine slatted bases.


Both beds are in good condition with a few minor scuffs, expected with their age.


Head board - Height 115cm, width 91.5cm, depth 5cm


Foot board - Height 54cm, width 91.5cm, depth 5cm


Total length of bed - 197cm
