A framed fragment of an 18th century tapestry.


I've always liked embroidery and crewelwork but I love the subject of this scene. Look at that happy cow, the pointer, fluffy sheep, with a tiny house and church spire in the woodland background, all overseen by a glimpse of the farmer.


The colours are beautifully faded and it's worn in places but that adds to it's charm, for me anyway.


Framed in a simple wooden, glazed frame.
