Item Description
Antique Original Oil on Board Painting
Depicting an evocative early morning scene against a backdrop of industrial buildings, railings, vehicles, electricity infrastructure and Lowry-esque figures crossing a metal bridge heading to work.
Painted in a folky style with a suitably muted colour palette of shades of grey and brick red.
Dating from the mid-20th century period, probably 1950s-1960s.
In its original simple wooden frame.
The painting is in good vintage condition, there is some wear commensurate with age but nothing too serious. There is a section toward the top left where the board has been repaired but we believe this occurred prior to the painting.
Overall measurements 111cm x 48cm x 2cm.
