Vintage 1950's German oil painting on canvas. 'Winter in Munich' a wonderfully atmospheric winter cityscape. The snow-covered scene is beautifully captured with a pleasing colour palette of cool silvery greys and soft earthy tones, punctuated by inky black and little pops of vibrant colour. Signed lower right. Dated 58 verso. Complete with the original frame.

Good vintage condition with craquelure and a couple of tiny spots of paint loss - only visible when the painting is held up to the light. The frame has signs of age and use, and is included in the sale for free.
