Attributed to French artist Paul Iske (1877 - 1961) Depicting the Fontaines du Theatre Francais, Paris (located on Place Andre Malraux) The famous fountain takes centre stage against the bustling city streets lined with grand architecture and majestic trees. Peopled with characterful figures - a newspaper boy followed by his spotted dog, a chic couple, child with sailing boat, and a grand couple walking their dog. Beautifully painted, with a great sense of atmosphere.

Good condition. The frame has cosmetic signs of age and is included in the sale for free.
