Item Description
Vintage 1970's Saudi Arabian traditional Bedouin date basket. Beautifully crafted from split and dyed date palm leaves, woven using the coil method, and featuring a multi-coloured geometric pattern. The base is lined with sheep or camel skin leather.
Good vintage condition - strong, sturdy and very usable. Lightly worn with slight losses, and the colours are gently faded.
