Item Description
We have a collection of hand spun and hand woven antique linen and hemp sheets sourced from Italy, France and Romania. Some have been hand dyed using natural dyes and others are undyed. All are in very good condition. Great as a throw. Individual details are listed below.
A/Oxblood - Large antique French linen sheet with RC monogram embroidery and hand-dyed a rich oxblood colour. It shows some light marbling of colour in places as can be expected with hand dyed goods. W 170cm, L 294cm
B/Natural - Large un-dyed antique two-piece French linen sheet with an elaborate EL monogram in embroidery in red. W 282cm, L 208cm
C/Clay - Large antique Italian heavy rustic linen sheet with RS embroidered monogram in red. The sheet has been hand dyed in a clay colour. W164cm, L 244cm
D/Natural - Large undyed antique Italian heavy linen throw made from three narrow loom pieces. W 134cm, L 198cm
E/Plaster - A lovely antique hemp two panel narrow loom sheet from Romania with a great weight and rustic look. W 133cm, L 196cm
