Item Details

A wonderful antique Swedish rag rug dating from the early 20th century.  In a palette of warm white,blues and greys interjected with soft hints of colour.  These beautiful old textiles arose through the reuse of materials from clothes and sacks which couldnot be patched.  They were cut into long strips of cloths and used to weave these characterful rugs.
