A hand crafted mid century Bengalese Kantha quilt C1950.  This piece is particularly pleasing for it's linear, graphic stitchwork pattern in soft red and blue on an ivory cotton ground. It is in good vintage condition showing its age gently.  A beautiful piece as a throw on the bed or in a sitting area.
