Item Details

An original work in ink on paper by Italian artist Antonio Zancanaro (1906 - 1985), signed and dated 1959.  The artist worked in the field of realism, most often depicting the most humble social realities. His minimalist line drawings were often then filled with colour for litho printing. This is quite possibly a preparatory sketch for one of his printed works.  Presented float mounted in an oak frame with oak fillet and conservation board and glass.
