Item Description
This is a spectacular Regency period rosewood and brass inlay centre table. The overall condition is very good and original. The rosewood is clean with stunning figuring and the brass inlay is totally complete. What makes this table so impressive is not just its size but also the amount of brass inlay work. The top outer boarder is covered in brass flowers, the tables outer edge has a brass band going all the way around. Then we have the base, what more to say the amount of brass work is outstanding and the feet are covered in case brass caps and the casters are original porcelain.
The top also flips up very smoothly and snaps down in place as well.
