It is in a completely washed-out condition, but with very attractive turned baluster ends connected by a centre stretcher. It needs a little TLC, washing off with soapy water and waxing up with a clear wax, but it’s got a really great look. I think it would look perfect in a pub with some stools around it, a few pints of beer, pork scratchings, a game of dominos on the go with everyone having a good time. We will put it through the workshop, make sure its rock solid and protect that lovely character
