Item Description
A wonderfully expressive English carved stone bust of a young girl, mounted on a later wood and metal base. Brilliant detail in the hair at the back of the piece, as well as the delicate features of the girl- even the trace of a tongue visible inside the slightly opened mouth. Obvious wear to the top of the head and to one side of the face, as well as a missing nose.
