A red and black handstitched tapestry depicting a lone figure with a canine companion.

Set in a gilt restauration period frame.

On the back is handwritten in French which translates to English as follows: Tapestry made by Madame Gustave Petitpierre, nee Florine Pellion, grand mother of Ferdinand and Georges Petitpierre 1834 - 1917.
