Copper "over the fire" cooking pot with lid and wide handles. (Right: SOLD)

The left is 18th century. In lovely condition although it would need to be re-tinned internally if it were to be used for anything other than decorative use.

The left has a smooth surface.

From a village in the Loire Valley, France.
