Early 20th Century Double Sided Clock Makers Trade Sign

A working example of an early 20th Century double sided clock makers trade sign clock. This item would have originally hung outside a shop with static hands on both sides. We have updated this feature and used a battery operated single sided clock mechanism to allow it to tell the time on one side only. The oversized clock weighs roughly 15kg and would have originally hung from the top loop which is exposed. This clock can be removed from its bespoke hand-crafted cast iron display mount. Both glass facias can be opened to gain access to the inside workings. There are still some remnants of the original green and black paint across this example, however, most has been removed due to it being kept outside for most of its life, The clock is made from zinc metal.
