Early 20th Century English Folk Art Scratch Built Eggs Box
A quirky one-off hand-crafted piece of English folk art in the form of an egg box holder. The box is made from an old crate of sorts (with original text still visible as shown) with hand crafted raised text which states “Eggs” and with a firmly placed hand carved chicken with raised leg. This item shows lot of worn painted surface and age. It would look great in a country house or farm style kitchen.
