Early 20th Century Large Double Bulb French Holophane Pendant


This one is big, with a double bayonet light bulb fitting, brass cage and glass Holophane shades which is stamped. The cage can be opened via a hinged clip as shown. With its original brass chain and ceiling rose. This light illuminates a soft glow and would look impressive hung is a large hallway or living setting.


Dimensions in inches: H 23” x W 14” x D 14” The chain drop is 36” including the light.

This object is completely solid in structure and form, it is firmly in place but shows natural aging across all its surfaces as we have tried to show in the photos provided. With light chips and blemishes to the grass but once hung and illuminated is fine in our humble opinion. A small loss to glass near the bottom nipple section is visible also. The light is fitted with temporary wiring and would need professional fitting.
