Item Details

This is such a pretty Art Deco period hand blown glass jug.   Great for mixing cocktails, or serving water, lemonade or even mulled wine for the festive period.  Hand blown with visible striations, painted with a band of translucent pink and finished with bands of gold.   Lovely ground out pontil mark underneath.   Dates from probably 1920s or 1930s.   Good, heavy quality.   A really lovely piece, great for parties.   Hard to believe this is about 100 years old.  


Condition:   Great - absolutely no problems.   You will see a small spot near the rim which I have examined closely and can confirm is a dab of gold with a bit of the gilder's fingerprint in it.   I have tried to clean it off but without success so best to accept it as part of its manufacture and hand made authenticity.  Slight rubbing to one of the gold bands - please look through photos.   Priced accordingly.
