An exceedingly smart Art Deco English silver plated champagne wine bucket cooler by the great English silver makers Mappin & Webb, Sheffield, with a date letter marking 1938. This excellent quality twin handled ice bucket is in good antique condition with little wear to the silver plating.


Mappin & Webb are still one of the most famous English silversmiths brand names, with an enviable global reputation, They are recognised as creating some of the most sought after barware from the Art Deco era and were used by top hotel barmen and on cruise liners.
