Item Details

A charming vintage blue cheese larder from Pangbourne in Berkshire.  The larder has a wooden frame with wire mesh and a metal back which would have helped to keep the cheese cool.  It's nicely distressed with apparrent wear and rusty in parts but overall has a fabulous look.  I've dressed it with plants which would be perfect for a conservatory or summerhouse but could obvioulsy be used in many other ways.  I've seen lots of meat and cheese larders but never this large.  


We aim to give a good representation of the condition of our furniture in both our images and description. Vintage items have all had a previous life and in most cases the condition will show signs of age  with wear and tear including scuffs and scratches.
